"Kind of Hit or Miss"
The selection was limited, so it felt a bit hit or miss. I looked around for a while but couldn’t find much that worked for me.

"Clean and no weird smell"
I ordered a hide from ecowhides.com and was impressed when it showed up with no strong animal smell. It felt clean right out of the box, so I didn’t have to leave it outside or air it out for days. It looks really nice in the room too, which was a nice bonus. I’d definitely buy another one.

"Easy return and quick refund"
I ordered the wrong size last week and realized it pretty much as soon as it arrived. I was a little nervous about starting a return, but I reached out that same day and they got back to me quickly with clear instructions.
I mailed it back the next morning, and a few days after they received it, the refund showed up. There wasn’t any annoying back and forth or hassle, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a really smooth return experience...

I ordered a cowhide rug from ecowhides.com, and to be fair, it did show up quickly. So that part was great :)
Once I unrolled it, though, I wasn’t totally sure about the hide itself. The pattern looked a little different from the photos, and the backing and edges felt more processed than I was expecting. Maybe it’s real, but it didn’t have that natural feel I’ve noticed with other cowhides.
I did reach out to customer service, and they replied, but I still felt kind of unsure after their response :/ It wasn’t a terrible experience, just not exactly what I was hoping for.

"Colors didn’t quite match the photos"
I got the hide and it’s fine overall, but the colors were a bit different from what I saw on the site. The pattern was close, just not as sharp or even as the pictures made it look. It still works in my room, but it was annoying to spend the time and energy comparing photos and picking the right one, only to have it show up looking a little off. Not terrible, just not exactly what I expected

"Wanted more info on the sourcing"
I was interested, but I couldn’t find enough clear info about where the hides come from or how they’re sourced. Maybe it’s buried somewhere on the site, who knows, but I didn’t feel totally comfortable buying without that detail. Just left me a bit unsure.

"I really wanted to like it"
I gave it a fair chance because I liked the look of it, but the quality just wasn’t there for me. The leather felt thin, and the stitching started coming loose way sooner than I expected. I don’t think I was being rough with it either, so it was disappointing...

"Felt let down after paying"
I expected a lot more for the price. Once I paid, I started feeling like I’d made a mistake because what I got just didn’t match the cost. The quality was average, and it left me not really trusting that it was worth the money

"Pretty close to what I expected"
It looks similar to the pictures, just not exactly the same. The color came out a little lighter than I thought it would, and the texture felt slightly different in person. For the price, though, I’m not too disappointed. Overall, I’m okay with it and feel like it was a decent buy.

"Packed better than I thought it might be"
My cowhide rug showed up packed really nicely, maybe even better than I expected. I was a little worried about weird folds or damage, but everything looked fine. The box seemed sturdy and it was wrapped neatly. Overall, I’m happy with how it arrived, it felt like they actually took some care with it.

"Pretty much exactly what I ordered"
My order from ecowhides.com came in just right. The size and color were what I picked, and nothing was missing. I was kinda nervous about ordering online, but it looked close to the photos, which was a relief. No mix-ups or issues, so I’m happy with it.

"I was surprised by how soft this hide..."
I was surprised by how soft this hide feels. The texture is really nice too, not scratchy or fake-feeling at all. It looks great draped over my chair and feels really comfy to touch. I kind of feel like it might be better quality than some others I’ve seen, though I’m just guessing. Overall, really happy with it.

"Didn’t hold up as well as I expected"
It looked good at first — no real complaints there, but after a few weeks, the edges started peeling up and the material just felt kind of thin. It’s not terrible or anything, just didn’t feel durable enough for what I needed.
